Interclass sketch competition 2009

Last week was an English week.

Our school organized a sketch competition that involved almost every class in the morning session. We were given about 2 months to rehearse our sketch, and yet we put it off until the very last minute. Nevertheless, we were able to come up with something, something that was barely satisfactory.

Our sketch entitled A Night In Brigodoon. The development of the story was about the owner of the Brigadoon Mansion, Mr Thaddeus being haunted by 4 of his loyal servants' spirit - Arny, Rinny, Inny and Pinny - and eventually realized about the love that comes from every heart of his closest ones. Honestly, we had good narrations and conversations throughout the sketch, but the failure of our very own PA system ruined everything.

Finally the results were announced amidst a mixture of claps and boos because the winning teams were announced in a complete disorder. Our sketch emerged as the first runner up. The 2nd runner up went to 5S3, and 5S2 successfully gained the title as the champion of the year. By the way, to unknown F4 schoolmates, please scroll down for your pics.

Grumbles

Life's been so crazy.

This morning, 4 of us were called to see our new principal to make a deal with the school, and eventually an agreement was made. We were forced to agree with this silly situation and to redo our project so that unnecessary troubles can be avoided. Absolutely no choice, but to redo

Or, I shall look at it from a different perspective. Instead of insisting I'm right, it'd be better if I accomodate and be flexible to overcome these circumstances. There's no need to prove anything, since things in real life always metamorphose in an unpredictable way ***well basically, when it comes to so-called 'positive thoughts', the thoughts are all lies, just to make bad things appear not to be that bad where in real life they're actually very bad =/ ***

无奈

今天是我遇到这辈子最疯狂的事。

一句话，妈的。

老实说，因为我想尝试，所以我决定了报考美术这门科目。本来一切都很顺利，该完成的 project 也做得七七八八，只剩 SPM 的临场作画。谁知，一句 “对不起，key in 错题目，已经没有得再作改变” 的话，我们四个人得重新开始另一份新的 project，来配合 key in 给教育局的题目。简直是荒唐。

有拿美术的都知道，教育局有几个题目任考生选，其中有两种是较为简单的。第一个是配合海底世界的主题来设计一件 T-shirt，另一个题目是手工了占大部分的笔筒设计。我自认绘画并不强，所以我毅然选择了笔筒设计。学校也只有四个人选择这个题目。难道就因大部分的人选择另一个题目，我们就这样被忽略了吗?

现在不是闹着玩，这是高级教育文凭 ! 若在这种情况下，那么荒谬的事情也能发生，试问，专业操守去了哪里? 老师，看着我拍的那些照片全部作废，设计出来的图稿一下子成为垃圾，你知道我有多难受吗? 为何把自己的痛苦延伸到我们的身上?

在和别人一样的时间限制里做两份工，其实我不喜欢草草了事，却没办法交出最好的成绩。

Teacher's Day

Frist of all, a big big THANK YOU to our parent-teacher association.

And Happy Teacher's Day! to every teacher for their never-ending contribution and effort.

This morning, each and every class in school unexpectedly received a cake to have a simple celebration with our beloved teachers. We were thrilled because the cake was free ! Guess the cake was actually a compensation as our "annual" celebration party was banned due to several complications.

Flashbacks

My mind loves to keep old things,

...that's why my brain always get overloaded with unforgettable events and memories. It sounds ludicrous, but that's what happens to me.

When I was clearing my folder, I found a file named BC reunion. It suddenly recalled back everything I buried in the depth of me. This was about 2 years ago, when everything was still going on pretty nice and well.

I can't remember every details. Only remember it was something like this - two days of apartment stay at Golden View Serviced Apartment if I'm not mistaken, room number 401, approx. 15 ex-schoolmates showed up etc etc. the list goes on and on.

I had fun. I guess they did. And not forgetting, he did, too.


It's been 2 years already, but every moment spent is still vivid. Hard to forget, yet hard to refresh.

I was once lost in my own depression. Instead of standing up strong, I engrossed in despair and foolishness. But it was just temporary, cause I knew the world wouldn't stop for me. And today, I'm glad that I enjoy every inch of my life journey to its fullest.





Sometimes, it's just about how we learn to appreciate. So, I'd like to say, ThankS (;

终点跫音已近，我却想不到毕业还有什么可怕了。

我们几个，本来就属于不同的人，却因同一份执著而聚在一起。但是这份执著，随着时间而来到了它的终点，意味着我们之间唯一的共同点也逐渐消失。每个人，都会回到原本的我们。

我生活中围绕的朋友，不多。我没有特定的老死，或所谓的 gang，所以渐渐，有任何需要组别的活动，我就是被遗忘的那个。我并不知道谁讨厌我，或排斥我。或许人与人真正隔离的，不是隔着那几行桌子或隔道墙的距离，而是时间。无可否认，我周围的面孔，对我来说，都越来越生疏了。

而在班上 - 这每个星期都得相处五天的环境里，我却没有丝毫的归属感。陌生，太陌生了。照片里开心的脸孔，在生活里，是越来越难捕捉到。

原来小学时候的那种友谊，才是最值得回味的。

Zac Efron is back in high school!

We're only young once, there's no turning back. But Zac in the film is an exception, he's got twice. That's what makes the film interesting, with a little touching and funny scenes.

After seeing their western education, I feel like my high school is almost like a jail. Everything about student needs to be strictly controlled, and every single day in class is just about sitting and listening. Somehow I wish time could go faster so that my "high school life" ends fast. I'm totally confused, WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE SO STRICT?

Well I'd say, Penang is a HEAVEN.

But there's one thing that you can't get to see in Penang - white and clean beach. In Terengganu, there ain't any pollution, no oil slick, no dead animal bodies, only white sands. Taking a night/morning walk at the beach is definitely a romantic choice for couples.
