Sandy Friday

Farewell, Mr Cat.

How's your life in KL? Must be really nice to be surrounded by bunch of pretty ladies, uh? Don't be sad, cause I never miss you ;D Be good to your stomach, if you see billboards like Penang Laksa, Penang Char Koay Teow whatsoever, don't make the order. It won't taste like 'Penang' even if there's a word 'Penang'. It's way different., hahahahaha. Good luck.

Last last last....... Friday:

The day before he escaped from Penang, we had a hang out. He was our driver [scary driving skills *giggles*]. The location was around Batu Ferringhi area, a sparesely-visited beach. I loved the tranquility, and the log kiosk with strings of colourful seashells.

We had random chit-chat in the kiosk, mostly on our past. Aih. Those wonderful memories will be forever cherished ;)

I was attacked by 2 fellas. Simple, cause it's always easier to aim a shorty. I knew it, I knew it.

Somebody joined Sandcastle-building contest and emerged as the champion, lor. Aiyo, why show off? Saw your big dumb face on The Star already ;D

So I ended up having sands all over my shirt and pants. Never mind, they dirtied my clothes, I dirtied his car. Fair enough ;D

Teeheee.

Timetable

I found something incongruous in class today.

Here is it. A timetable filled with some 'interactive' activities which is only restricted to blablablabla's hubby cause blablablabla's hubby is the only one who is capable to carry out the activities with blablablabla. I found this timetable quite interesting so I just picked it up from my classmate's table and started
to read it out sequentially.

The moment I reached the last column I couldn't help to titter, hahahaha. Well, this is just for fun [:

Seni assignment

Yes. Seni project - mission accomplished [finally]

I marvel at the sum of the money I spent on it cause it's so-omg. Here goes the list:
1) wasted 30 bucks to print unwanted photos
2) 15 bucks for those necessary ones
3) 3 bucks for binding
4) 13 bucks for mounting board
5) 8 bucks for 100 pieces of 165 g drawing paper

The total is 69 bucks. 69, seriously?! [What the hell]

Tomorrow I'm gonna pass it up to the teacher, and then, it'll be gone forever. May my folio rest in peace in the dusky and dusty storeroom. [p.s. you'll be missed, the one that swallowed my 69 bucks] =)

I tried to make the contents as simple as possible, cause the first folio was a letdown. And I totally ran out of ideas. Mentally exhausted, haha.

Chemistry Peka Experiment

School days are normal,
sit eat sleep talk crap.

In the first semester, we've studied about the heat of combustion between two alcohols. And, according to our education policy, students are required to do a couple of practical experiments whereby the marks given will be counted in our *fatal* SPM examination.

So months months months ago, we did a peka experiment on the heat of combustion between butanol and ethanol. The weather of the day was windy and rainy, so it affected our room temperature causing more heat loss into the surrounding. Practically, the wind shields didn't help much to avoid that.

I took the oppotunity to walk around in the laboratory and mess up with other groups' set-up of appraratus. The students-are-not-allowed-to-walk-around-in-the-lab regulation was set knowing that students would deliberately violate it XD

Finally when the experiment was done., it was funny that every group submitted completely different calculations and furthermore none of our answers matched the ones given by the teacher lol.

Practical experiment is sort of like an emphasis, like I must acquire a clear figure on the things I learn only then can I absorb the theory. So, I like experiments.

Maybe I should call it as Kimia esperimen.
shit! I don't even know how to spell experiment in malay!

Fishing Village

I'm not so sure where the place is.

It's a fishing village, somewhere in the area of Batu Maung, if I'm not mistaken, like the remotest corner of Penang Island.

The pictures are stored for a few weeks already, or maybe months.

That time was a lovely evening, so my uncle drove us there to have our dinner, as he knew exactly where to hunt for good food. There was a restaurant, a VERY crowded one. The reason was obvious the moment I tasted the restaurant's specials, hey they were great =) my taste buds were pampered.

Therefore, I ate a lot, a lot, a lot, and cleaned almost everything that had been placed on the plate.

Again, the food was great, and I had a great time. Teeheeeeee =)

Gila Gang

I attended a gathering held by Penang Queen's Guide Guild.

It sounded like something big and formal was going to happen. At first, I was shocked. Question marks oozed out from my brain, like 'Am I invited for this?' and 'What am I gonna do?' etc etc.

Well seriously it was an unofficial one. It was like really informal, completely different from what I thought of it. And I'd say, the seniors were cool. I never realized about their gila-gila side. After 2 hours of observation, I could conclude that throughtout the gathering, they were even gila than us, 100%.
=D =D =D
Before I came to know that, I thought our batch might be the craziest ones. I was wrong!

The gathering was a nice one. And two thumbs up for the kopitiam. I've never been to such unique place. People left comments and feedbacks on the wall after they paid their visit, positive encouragement and compliment of course, no vandalism. Cool. I drew a cartoon too, but I didn't get to snap a picture of it, tsk tsk.

Thank you, Sheryl, for your instant updates in Facebook.

Joanne's Wedding

Joanne's husband is Eng Chong. He is my uncle, mom's brother for those who don't understand.

He was single for 35 years. When he thought that he was going to live alone in depression for the rest of his life, he met with a pretty and young lady named JOANNE. And this lady, she had finally agreed to marry him. And then it leaded to a happy marriage (of course) =)

Last Saturday night they had their wedding dinner at Chung Hwa Restaurant. I was their photographer, unofficial one, with no DSLR, but a pinky little camera. The dinner was just ordinary - chinese style cuisine, karaoke, big crowds and the most importantly, those people who kept singing out of key, etc etc.

The next morning, was all about 迎娶 (ying2 qu3). I thought there was nothing special as I wasn't the one who was going to get married. And besides my knowledge in chinese tradition is extremely limited.

Just married !

Gangshow 2009 @ Dewan Sri Pinang

Gangshow 2009 was held
as one of our 90th anniversary celebrations.

That night was a busy night. My friends and I were responsible for the souvenir counter, and being a salesgirl wasn't that bad at all. I personally thought that the sale was okay. At least we managed to get some response from the crowd. Ludicrously, the show delayed for those people who came late. This is honestly a bad habit that most of the people can't get rid of. =/

When the show finally started, we snatched a little leisure from our duty and sneaked off into the hall to get some cool air. Well, the major reason was to support Chee Ying's Peacock Dance. It was indeed awesome. But sadly, they didn't make it into top 3. We didn't get to watch the entire performances, but from what I saw, some shows were seriously, erm not that good. Never mind, at least no boos were heard.

Overall, the show went on perfectly. Prizes were given out to the winners, some were happy, some were unhappy, whatever. We went home at bout 11.30pm, so so so great great extremely exhausted.
=D =D =D
After a long phone talk with a crazy fella, I collapsed on my bed right away. Ok, that was about my one whole night.
