Movie talk: Coming soon

Coming Soon. A Thai horror movie. Not my first choice to pay GSC a visit. Scare factors always piss me off.

Jiaying this fella is freaking crazy, she said she's gonna watch it this Sunday, with Ginny and Yhow. No for me, thanks. I'll be haunted by nightmares if I watch it. Seriously, you're going to the cinema to watch a horror movie that uses the cinema as the setting. When it comes to scary parts and you're not being rational anymore, all those empty seats will surely give you great hallucinations haha [= so be mentally prepared, girls.

I'm too much of a spend-thrift, it's time to cut down some unecessary expenses.

I miss you, my dear

Beautiful morning sky. I used to linger and wander at the corridor especially in the morning. But now, things have changed. School rules are monitored more strictly, it's stated that students are not allowed to be late for lessons, not even 1 minute late. Well, including some other nonsense too like turning off lights at 9.30am, wearing shower cap during recess etc etc... the list goes on and on. Whatever.

I miss my classroom badly. I want I want I want to go back to our original position instead of smelling the fragrance of the toilet like almost everyday in P5. I'd rather climb all the way up to S1 that provides a better study environment. Another good thing about S1, it's just a few inches away from S2.

Real bomba experiences

It was a Bomba day at the fire brigade obligation centre.

I couldn't wake up in time so I was late for the course 'man, it's Sunday'. We had a short briefing in the beginning, that time I was unenlightened due to a triple-z bad functional mind. Let's skip all the boring parts including the introduction of fire-fighting facilities. Talk about the standpipe double, some of us who took the test were required to open up the hydrant and let the water flows out.
No fire rescue mission, just for some simple practices.

Coming up next was the most exciting part. We got to extinguish the fire by using real fire extinguisher instead of memorizing those stupid KH topics. In case you don't know, you can't extinguish fire that burns with petrol with H2O, once the petrol is splashed, it may cause the fire to become more vigorous and turn out to be a negative consequence.

After lunch, I took one set of fire brigade uniform and squeezed myself into it. To be honest I looked like a clown with the super dooper large size uniform. The man also offered me to take a ride with the fire-fighting car, with siren on, that was super cool [= afterwards, there was a simple test. My result was pretty good by the way *giggles*

She is obviously our asst. Company Leader, Amelia

Fire extinguishing practice:

Joanne the fire brigade:

We had an outdoor activity which we were taught to put out fire with pipe that drew water from the standpipe double. Time to splash water. I didn't expect the task to be easy. It wasn't that exhausting, though. In fact we were only looking forward to getting ourselves all wet. I enjoyed being splashed. Seriously, everyone who passed by and saw us would definitely be astonished by our behavior. By the way, Yeephing's shirt was transparent =P hah!

Wet wet wet..

Three of us, Yeephing Huiting and I were told to join their brigade as they need more support form the community. I don't think that my physique and physical ability are qualified to join the rescue team. Well, anything, settle after SPM [=

Lousy chef of the day @ Indian Restaurant

Joanne the chef =)

In order to pass my Bintang Renjer Puteri II, taking a test called Asia Pacific was a must, and cooking Asia Pacific countries' delicacy was one of the conditions. I honestly had no idea at all on how to make roti canai and pappad. And so, I went to visit an idian restaurant. I requested to make my own roti canai with all the kitchen tools, surprisingly, the indian boss agreed.

He understood that I was a first-timer, so he stood beside me to provide guidance throughout the whole cooking process. It was never an easy task, to me. As for the boss, his skills were absolutely good, at least he could turn the hot roti instantly without hesitating.
In fact, I was just like an intruder, intruded the restaurant and messed around with the facilities. I wasn't serious at all.

So to say, I can't cook, but I can assist those who can cook.

Things may seem to be complicated, but once you've started, everything will be simplified, and the impossibilities will no longer exist =) Enjoy life, live to learn, and appreciate.

Canteen Day @ Union High [part 2 - craziness]

The moment I stepped into the canteen I could hear scream and shriek, from everyone who stood on the tables and benches. Noise came from every corner of the building. So to say, a natural phenomenon in girl school.

We took tonnes of crazy photos today.
Vivian Tan is the craziest and weirdest girl I ever met ! =]

At the coridor:

Back to canteen:

Then, to the field:

Clearing and cleaning:

I had lots of fun today, it was fun to mess around with Melissa Loh. This'd be my first, and also the last Canteen Day in my entire life.

Canteen Day @ Union High [part 1]

Banner for Science 1 !
S1 rocks !

I'm here to share some pictures taken. They're all about our Canteen Day. By the way, half an hour later, I have to rush back to school again cause there's still another Canteen Day for the afternoon session people. Our stall needs lots and lots of loudspeakers and promoters.

S1 Laksa, delivered all the way from Perak Road.

Fruits for chocolate fondue:

These are not from S1, but they're still pretty good.

Well, this morning, everything was like a mess. As we could see people threw their rubbish and leftover all over the place, even the floor. I wonder if they were blind, that's why they couldn't see the rubbish bin. Union High students behaved like that, no social morality at all, what a great disappointment. Guess the cleanliness-in-charge is having terrible headache now.

The crowd.

Behind the scene:

My class S1 [so called the arrogant-est class] prepared some food like Penang famous laksa, potato salad, chocolate fondue and strawberry lolli for this fund-raising event. My voice became hoarse again, due to the role-play as a loudspeaker *wth* we had to scream and shout like mad people to get attraction. What to do, all because our stall located at the very far end of the canteen. All in all, the business wasn't satisfying.

p5 gang.

S2's style to represent their class.

High high high already..

I hope we can gt more support from the afternoon session girls. Time to go already.
